When I was surfing virus busters got installed automatically and showed some spyware and trojans which was simulaneously caught by avast which I had quarantined.
Then I uninstalled it and removed it from the startup also. Even after this, virus buster has left an icon of virusbusters.com which was originally removed from the start up list.
Can you please guide me as to how to remove the icon from the task bar and cutoff messaging from this icon.

You should realise that this goes by many different names and one of them is Virusburst or Virusbusters…there is a great tool here which should remove the problem. Follow the instructions exactly.
