Hi, my question is rather simple, but I just couldn’t find an answer on the forum so far.
When you uninstall avast (i.e. for a reinstall), what happens to all the viruses that are currently in the virus chest? Do they get released from the chest or something or is it still safe to do?

When the program is uninstalled the contents of the chest are deleted, not released.
Simply put, what happens in the chest, stays in the chest, unless the user decides to restore something.
No. when a virus added into virus chest then it’s disinfected by avast. So you don’t worry about this, Waterfiets 8)
