what happens to the files which are inside virus chest if i unistall avast internet premier from my laptop?

does the files from virus chest gets deleted or it gets restore again to old path (folder or drive) it was before?

They get deleted.

I got about more than 10 files in my virus chest and I uninstalled avast premier to install free avast.

Will my laptop get infected or my laptop will not work properly If some important files from virus chest has been deleted?

That depends on the files, without further info it’s hard to tell.

If they were important files and they were in the chest, then you could/would already be experiencing problems as they aren’t in the original location.

i have not experienced any problem yet after getting deleted those files. i hope i will not get any problem after few days
