Virus Chest Server Question

Hi. I just downloaded, installed and ran Avast 4.8.1368. It found some items, but when I selected to send them to the Chest, I received a message that “Virus Chest server is not running. RPC communications failed”. Why might I have gotten this message, and how do I fix it? Thanks.

Which is the operating system in your PC ?.I recommend you to download and install Avast 6.

Thank you. I’ll stick with V4.8. My original question remains…Why might I have gotten this message, and how do I fix it?

Could be the avast! service not running, or the LRPC service not running on your system…
