How do you start the avast! virus cleaner in avast! Home Edition?
I thought it was an integral part of avast and if a virus is detected that is covered by the avast cleaner it will be triggered by avast.
However, I couldn’t find aswclnr.exe in the avast4 folder only the one I downloaded so you may need to download it, all that is required is to run aswclnr.exe.
I found a way to start(manual) the cleaner only from the Enchanced User Interface, I can’t find a way to start it in the Simple Interface. Also like DavidR said the program will offer you to start the cleaner if the virus which is found is covered by the cleaner.
