I would like to know how often is the virus cleanner updated,because when I compare to other companies it seams that avast is rarely updated. :-\

The Virus Cleaner is a standalone application that, for sure, is not that often updated as it is intended to be used just to clean infection.
avast Antivirus is a complete antivirus solution (on demand + on access scanner) and it is updated three or four times a week, sometimes, each day, sometimes, more then once a day. 8)
