Virus continually shows on scan: JS:ScriptSH-inf [Trj]

I did a search in the forums and don’t see how I can remove this. Below are the details:

I received this after doing a system scan.

Virus has been detected!
File Name: passportproductions_com[1].htm
FileID: 26
Virus Description: JS:ScriptSH-inf [trj]

How can I remove this from my system?\

I move it to the chest and delete it, but it still shows up on a scan.

Is the pictured alert the same as the one you received? If so it hasn’t actually infected your system; the scanner prevvented the malicious script from downloading.
If on the other hand it is the result of a system scan, more action will be required.
I suggest you clean your temporary internet files, and try a boot scan with Avast.

I saw on your other thread that you are using IE6. IE7 or 8, or Firefox 3 will be better and more secure alternatives.

Currently using IE8.
Will try your advice.

I have the identical trojan. I clicked on delete but Avast could not delete. Error message was no permission. Should I have clicked on move to chest first and then tried to delete it? How do I find the trojan again without having to run an entire scan?
