I had this problem eaier on windows 7, but now on windows 10 pro and avast premier 18.1.2326 but still no sound on Virus database update! is it a general problem ?
The sound is long gone…
Couple of years now and many versions ago …
The VPS database update sound has been gone since the release of Avast v9 (2014).
This sound will not be coming back.
