Virus deleting my anti virus programs

Avast got deleted :frowning: Anyway my problem is that I have downloaded a virus that deletes any exe file that tries to scan it. My Avast virus software is gone, Search and Destroy gone, Malwarebytes, and HyjackThis!. I even did an online scan and it deleted my firefox.exe file. Also I tried a system restore and it was unable to restore. Not sure what to do now. Any help?

Can you try to boot into safe mode with networking?If you don’t know how, heres a guide http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm
If you are able to get into safe mode with networking,reinstall malwarebytes and avast.Then run a scan with them.Quarantine all the items they found and post back a log from malwarebyte.

I actually was doing a search and came across this program called combofix… and so far I believe my avast is working. I am keeping my fingers crossed

Combofix should not be used unless instructed by a professional.I heard that 1 out of 100 pc that uses combofix got corrupted :cry:
Did you reinstall avast since you say its working right now?Also did you run a scan with mbam?

Avast just came back up once combofix fixed the problem. I am reinstalling my programs now then I will do a malwarebytes run.
