Hi,Using Avast IS,i ran a full scan yesterday and Avast detected c:\windows\prefetch\readyboot\trace6.fx link Reverton-f(Trj) as a virus
and put it in the virus chest,i’m not sure if this is an fp or not so i don’t if i should delete it or not.Thanks for any help.

Thanksfor your help.I just restored the file and scanned it with (www.virustotal.com) and all anti virus’s gave it a green tick,
I take it thats a good sign.
I then ran an Avast full scan again and this time it did’nt flag it as a virus.
I think maybe it’s a safe bet to say that this was indeed an FP.
If you’d like Twin to check your computer, attach the logs. If you’re confident it’s a FP, I think we are done here :).
Yeah i’m pretty confident it’s an FP,also recently had laptop a good going over from a MBAM tech guy which ran clean.
