Virus Detection for filterforte.com on Chrome

Hi there,

I keep getting a connection abortion warning for a site called filterforte anytime I search anything on Chrome. I’ve run a few scans and have not been able to find the concern. Was wondering if I could get some support in finding this.

This isn’t a detection of something on your system but a blockage of something you’re attempting to access.
A screenshot or the exact text of the block might be of help.

Hi there! I gave it a try with no luck sadly. Still getting the notification (as posted by the above commenter). Any other advice would be great!

Scanner crawlers are being blocked on this website,
so that could have influenced the scan results.

Wait for a final verdict from avast team,
as they are the only ones to come and change their definitions and come and unblock.

The 403 error should be reported to CloudFlare's.

I had the same problem. Took me a bit of digging but this thread (https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/283504-cant-get-rid-of-riskware/) led me to uninstall the Ultimate Volume Booster extension for Chrome. I haven’t had the issue since. I don’t know what the site was or whether it was actually malicious but if you have the same extension and it’s bothering you then I would recommend doing the same.
