My Avast just popped up and told me there were virus’ in the avast file. I don’t think there would be and I am concerned that a virus has tampered with the virus protection.
You placed those infected files into the moved folder. You are supposed to put them into the virus chest where they can’t harm the computer.

Thank you for your reply. I just reformatted my pc yesterday (LLF) and also did the MBR. I have malwarebytes in my pc. Avast is the second thing I put in. The first was windows. How is it that my pc can be infected already?
Because you don’t have a firewall. Windows Firewall have very little protection.
Avast Internet Security has a firewall.
PC Tools and Online Armor firewall. both have great protection.
