Virus found in explorer.exe!!!! Please help!

Hi

Ok so I have a themed Windows 7 with Avast installed. Today, I had a lot of applications open on my laptop and it was running out of memory so the theme went to the Windows Basic. I tried opening up task manager to restart explorer.exe but when I tried to start it again an alert came up from avast saying I have the infection FileRepMalware in object C:\Windows\explorer.exe. I tried clicking fix automatically or repair but when I click OK, the window comes up again and the only way I could remove it was by stopping the AvastSvc with a program called Process Hacker. So now I cannot run Avast and explorer.exe at the same time and Avast is saying there is malware on explorer.exe. What should I do??? Please Help!!!

Thanks

Anyone?

Could you update the Avast definitions and then try again as this may be a false positive that I think has been resolved

No its still coming up :S at first it doesnt come up but if i restart the explorer.exe the alert comes up again. What should I do?

Could you upload the explorer.exe to avast as a false positive and for now put it in the file shield exclusions

Is it definately not a virus though?
