Virus Full Scan still showing at 0%

Hi

I am running avast free on windows 10
I have no problem running a quick scan - But when I choose to run a full scan
The full virus scan - Running seems to be at 0% and does not progress …
I clicked on uni-stall and selected repair and tried again this time it shows the % running
But does seem very slow - about 2 Min’s or more - before the running percentage shows the running scan

When you first begin a full scan avast! is running a rootkit scan thus the GUI shows no progress.
This is normal. Rest assured the scan is running. It just takes a bit before any progress is shown.
