virus got past avast

in the exe in the zip that can be found here > hxxp://kleding.no-ip.org/virus.zip is a virus which I could execute without a warning from avast. The virus is the beagle trojan.

Can you submit it to avast in a password protected zip file? Or if you have a sample in the chest you can submit it from there. No need to passwrd protect it then

virus@avast.com

give as much info as you can.

I tried to email it but Gmail blocks zip files which have an .exe inside them and using the build-in avast mailer gives me SMTP errors.

Ha gekkegerrit,

Hoe kom je hieraan en is dit je eigen site of post je daar alleen maar? Heb je het gescanned met virustotaal en welke scanners vonden deze malware?
Can you give the upload results to virustotal?

groetjes,

polonus

virustotal results: http://www.virustotal.com/nl/analisis/74e488134ce0b7aefbdca48e04daf5a2

en het is mijn eigen site.

Try this.

Open the avast chest, click the user’s file button. Right click in the window and select add. In the browse box navigate to where you have the sample, click open. That box will cloce and you will be back in the chest. Right click the file you have added and select email to alwi software.

Before you send, make sure the box beside mapi is checked.

ok its mailed.
