Essexboy will be in here tomorrow and help you remove this
he is usually in here around 08:00pm - 11:59pm UK time
here is the OTL.txt
then we need aswMBR and Malwarebytes log
malwarebytes.log
aswMBR.txt
Hi there I can see what you have but I will need a stronger tool to start with
Download and Install Combofix
Download ComboFix from one of the following locations:
Link 1
Link 2
VERY IMPORTANT !!! Save ComboFix.exe to your Desktop
- IMPORTANT - Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools. If you have difficulty properly disabling your protective programs, refer to this link here
[*]Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
[*]Accept the disclaimer and allow to update if it asks

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v706/ried7/NSIS_extraction.png
[*]When finished, it shall produce a log for you.
[*]Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply.
Notes:
- Do not mouse-click Combofix’s window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.
- Do not “re-run” Combofix. If you have a problem, reply back for further instructions.
Please make sure you include the combo fix log in your next reply as well as describe how your computer is running now
i ran it but can’t find c:\combofix.txt, also searched pc and can’t find combofix.txt at all.
Did combofix run to completion and reboot the computer ?
Could you post a fresh OTL log please
here is OTL. it said it was too large so i broke it in half
it appeared that combofix ran, but it did not reboot automatically.
i searched for the file, couldnt find it, rebooted, still couldnt find it
thanks
part 2 of OTL
Looks like you updated to SP1 yesterday, this would explain the size of the log
Combofix appears to have cleared the bad boy
What problems are you experiencing at the moment ?
keep getting this error, even after the last time i ran combofix
see attachment
Could you run Combofix again please - it fixed the mwsock problem first time around
it ran much more this time and rebooted and created the log file…
it also appeared that it may have deleted the virus?
Could you now check windows updates please and let me know of any outstanding problems
everything seems fine and the error has not appeared since i saw combofix delete c:\windows\assembly\tmp\U\8000000c0.@
thanks for your help, it is much appreciated
check back later and Essexboy will tell you how the remove the tools used
Subject to no further problems ![]()
I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems
Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean ![]()

Run OTL and hit the cleanup button. It will remove all the programmes we have used plus itself.

[*]Open My Computer.
[*]Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
[*]Select the View Tab.
[*]Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Do not show hidden files and folders.
[]Click Yes to confirm.
