Anti Vir had detected a trojan keylogger in Spybot Teatimer, we all know that this is a false positive and Anti Vir has taken care of it in the next update. Just to let those who are using Anti Vir and Spybot know. ![]()
Just scanned my system via the avast! external control, using the option âExternal On-Demand Scanner/Scan Physical Memory Thoroughâ!
It found a Trojan Horse within the âteatimer.exeâ, which is part of âSpybot S&Dâ.
The Trojan Horse is supposed to be âWin32:DyfucDldr-AC [Trj]â, VPS_Version 0608-1, 23.02.2006

RejZor could confirm, but this is not the default avast scanning, I mean, it could detect things in memory that refer to false positivesâŚ
Yeah, thats correct. Thorough mode is not even available in avast! (officially).
Itâs very thorough mode which may or may not produce false positives.
Iâm very sure there isnât any such thing in SpyBot so we can assume itâs just a FP.
Thats what i guessed, just wanted it to be known that there might be a FP :-\
