Don’t use Google Chrome yet. It’s insecure and unstable. Try Firefox (4.0.1) or Internet Explorer 9.

;D ;D ;D mind to elaborate?… after all don’t ::slight_smile:

Well, I’d like to see it elaborated. :wink:

Please, no… Another browser “fight” thread…

Actually, I was more interested to know how insecure Google Chrome is. Is the user aware of something no one else is? Something that could endanger every Google Chrome user?

Because, to say a program is insecure… one needs to back it up.

I agree, I just started using Chrome because I can’t get IE9 and everything I read beforehand said it was very secure because it isolates tabs from each other among other things. If there are security issues, I’d like to know what they are. (other than the Google privacy issues)

As of 2 days ago when I last checked psi, Secunia had no security advisories against the latest version of google chrome.

Sleep easy. :slight_smile:

oh come on guys the poster who started the “chrome not secure” thing had no idea what he’s talking about. Same goes for the rest of his posts in general, so it’s pointless to expect any explanation from him… he just read it somewhere and reposted it here ;D

Yeah, something could answer… then another question… and another answer… which is best is the next step…

I’m just saying that because I downloaded it TEMPORARILY on my computer and it seemed insecure to me.

yes okay, how ??? … just describe the feeling, and the cause :wink: … can’t wait to hear about that 8)

HOW IS CHROME INSECURE??? Guys, let’s be serious here. The most secure is of course Opera 11.10. Opera has a closed source, comapred to Firefox and chrome so its the safest of all. the most insecure is ie9

Why do you consider an open source less secure than a closed source?
What about Linux x Windows?
Let’s be serious here.

It’s funny that so many experts are saying that Opera is the least secure and that IE9 is actually the most. Who do you believe?

If Chrome is secure, how come this thread is here? ???

It’s related to a way that was found to launch the Windows calculator remotely from Chrome. If you read the article, they used a series of sophisticated exploits (not all within Chrome) to accomplish it and it’s highly unlikely it would ever actually happen.
