When I run a Smart Scan or Full Virus Scan the window that hovers in the bottom right of my screen showing the progress says that the scan is cancelled just before finishing. This happened at 99% complete on the Full Virus Scan and 93% on the Smart Scan. Is this a known bug or should I be concerned? My scan histories are saying that no virus has been found on my machine.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? When I watch the Smart Scan progress in the actual client it looks like it’s finishing early there too. Is this also a part of the bug? Is the scan actually completing? I would like to know for sure as I use this machine for financial transactions and if there’s something amiss I need to know ASAP. Also fwiw this seems new, I’m fairly certain I’ve never encountered this before while using avast.
