Virus/Spyware (Can't rid self of it)

I have recently gotten my computer infected with an unknown virus/spyware and I’m wondering if anyone has run into the same thing…

At random intervals, usually between the area of 1-5 minutes, I’ll get a bubble to pop up from the taskbar tray:

As usual, something like this, I refuse to click on… However, even without my input, it will slowly fade away, then immediately boot up Internet Explorer and bring me to this website:

I wont actually link the website, just in case the site tries to auto-install the same thing that I have currently.

Ran 2 Boot-Scans. Removed all files from a folder within C:\Program Files. Folder name “Video Add-on”. Second Scan removed all files from a folder in the same location, named “Veiwpoint”… However, despite these removals, it appears to have done no good. I’m still getting that random popup and start of IE…

Ran a scan with McAfee, but nothing came up. Then ran a scan with Ad-Aware 2007. It just got rid of the usual temp internet files and all that happy stuff. So, no dice from those two, either.

It’s midnight, I’m sure this topic is fragmented, so bare with me here. However, as usual, any help regarding this is greatly appreciated.

Started poking around in my system and found some executables that were not picked up by any scans, but do not appear to be from anything that I normally have.

AU_.exe
dsbrws.exe
icmntr.exe
isfmm.exe
laf1.exe
laf2.exe
laf3.exe
thinksnet.exe

I’m thinking maybe a Safe Mode, Delete and RegEdit might be in order here. Unless these are needed by my system…?

Try this tool, RogueRemover, available here http://www.malwarebytes.org/rogueremover.php

Before taking action especially deletion investigate, google the file names and see what comes up, scan the suspect file/s, see below.

You could also check the offending/suspect file at: VirusTotal - Multi engine on-line virus scanner and report the findings here. I feel virustotal is the better option as it uses the windows version of avast (more packers supported) and there are currently over 30 different scanners.
Or Jotti - Multi engine on-line virus scanner if any other scanners here detect them it is less likely to be a false positive. Whichever scanner you use, you can’t do this with the file in the chest, you will need to move it out.

If you haven’t already got this software (freeware), download, install, update and run it, preferably in safe mode.
SUPERantispyware On-Demand only in free version.
