Virus that Avast didn't found

I’m new to Avast Home and I like it. Now I got an email with a virus but Avast didn’t detect it. What can I do to give Avast informations about that virus to help improve/enhance(?) the virus data base?

This is from the Avast web site:

If you have any suspicious files that are not detected by the latest version of our antivirus programs, you can send them to virus@avast.com. The ideal way to send such files is to compress them as a ZIP with the password ‘virus’ (so that the attachment is not deleted by some other antivirus software on the way).

Ok, thank you for the answer.

I would also suggest for the future to use VirusTotal - Multi engine on-line virus scanner as this uses the windows version of avast and has at last count 29 different scanning engines.

Thanks for the input and welcome to the forums.
