This particular virus was detected by Avast and is located in the Windows temp folder. What it appears to be doing however, is changing its name slighty at exactly every 11 minutes and trying to attack again. EVERY 11 minutes forever! Each time it tries this AVast does catch it and places it in the chest. But the aggravating part is that no matter what I am doing…at exactly every 11 minutes, a new (or I suspect a slighty changed-named version) virus is catught by Avast and the big red pop-up window comes up! its very distracting and makes me wonder what in the world it is and how can i get it to stop. I tried all my trick in safe mode and serious cleaners but nothing has worked so far. The exact name of the spyware that pops up is C/WINDOWS/TEMP/~os##/rlxg.dll
THe ## is what changes every 11 minutes. I tried deleting everything inside the windows temp folder but the avast5 folder will not delete and I believe that that is an avast file used for scanning before it allows data to be put on the computer. at any rate I want to shoot it!! LOL
Does anyone have any idea or what it is and better yet how to permanently delete it?
