I have downloaded both of these and will run them both. Thank you.
You’re welcome, they both produce reports, run one and post the results before running the second.
I ran the malwarebytes and it came up clean. Here is the report.

nice
run SAS when you get around to it- like overnight sometime
let’s set some priorities- use google to find these
I would run secunia software inspector first and get all your apps up to date
if your java is out of date run “javara” first to remove all old versions
What browser do you use?
what firewall?
install spywareblaster by javacool- no resources
install a hosts file I use MVPS hosts but HP hosts is also good
think about some real time anti malware protection
choice two free ones
Windows Defender
Spyware Terminator (but click custom install or whatever and do not install the toolbar or CLAM AV
Okay I did the javara and removed all old versions. I am running the secunia right after I post this. I use IE7 and Firefox 3 and I am running Zone alarm Firewall. I have also downloaded spyware terminator as you suggest. I will run the complete SAS over night and post it tomorrow. Thanks again. I appreciate all your help!
I ran secunia and it found a couple of my programs needed updating which I did. I will now run SAS over night.
I think that will probably be clear (but we will see) as the quick scan should turn up the more serious of any possible issues. Ensuring your system is fully up to date goes a long way to closing known vulnerabilities which may be being exploited.
Things are looking much better though.
HiLisa looking good
do install spywareblaster as you are using IE
spywareterminator is being used for its proactive protection NOT because it’s the greatest scanner- but it is far from the worst:)
If you have the hard drive space you could keep MBAM and SAS around and use as needed
you can go to zone alarm Program control and delete or uncheck unknown programs or ones you do not use anymore including the old Java’s
If something needs to connect and you have deleted it it will ask again so no harm no foul
I’ll be gone for a couple of days but do post up any questions we are all volunteers here
Here is the SAS scan results where adware.tracking cookies were found and quarantined:

I am definitely keeping both SAS and MBAM and use as needed. I will install spywareblaster as well.
Well that looks good, if the only thing you have to worry about are tracking cookies, you have little to worry about. They represent a minor privacy consideration rather than a security issue, I have even disabled the check in the scanning preferences.
I don’t allow third party cookies to be accepted only those for the site I’m visiting and I periodically clear out my cookies. I also use cookiesafe add-on for firefox to go further and block certain sites, doubleclick being one in your list.
I will get the cookiesafe addon for firefox. I want to thank you guys for all your help. I really appreciate it!!
You’re welcome.
