I have just downloaded KGB Free Key Logger 1.84 form Softpedia and receive a virus warning

is this possibly a false positive

I don’t think this is a false positive. A key logger is a type of trojan which can monitor users without their permission.

Not all detection from avast! are false positive. :wink: Make sure this virus is in the virus chest.
