Virus: Win32:Scar-W [trj] - How to remove??

Hey guys!

I was running iantivirus on my 2008 Macbook (OSX 10.9.5) for years and finally upgraded to the Avast Mac Security.

On it’s first scan it found the following: Win32:Scar-W [trj]

I’m not sure where it came from or how long its been there either as the old scanner never picked it up.

It won’t remove it or move it the Chest and I guess I figured that Avast would remove it straight away but hasn’t?

Any suggestions / help would be greatly appreciated!

And it probably says the path of where it found it doesn’t it?

It does, but when I go in there to find / delete it I can’t see it for some reason??

And when you scan again does it appear?

(In my previous post I was implying you should post the path, my guess is that is some temporary file that has already been deleted, the path would be helpful for that)
