Just updated defs and noticed they came from 174.36.159.196 softlayer.com.
Is this a legit partner of Avast or…(I certainly hope so).
Usually I get them from downloadxxx.avast.com.
Please advice.
The address is OK.
There were some new servers set up, so maybe their DNS is not fully propagated yet.
It’s been about 20 months since the previous post. Have the DNS still not propagated yet? I just blocked an attempt by Avast to go to Softlayer.com, but don’t know why it was going there. Who is softlayer, and what do they have to do with Avast?
