sometimes i can see some spam in ICQ. It contains some message and link to file on webfile.ru; All of this files - viruses and when i visit link, downloading starts automatically :(^ How i can protect my computer? And how i can add this files to avast base?
Hi diver! avast! Web shield can scan all your traffic for viruses & block them. As for adding them to Avast bases, you can add those files to chest in “user files” section & sent them to Alwl team, or sent them in pasword protected archive, with the “virus” password to virus@avast.com, whith a refer to this tread.
You can add webfile.ru to the Web Shield, Customize, URL Blocking, Add, see image.
Or you can also add the file to the User Files (File, Add) section of the avast chest and send it from there (right click, email to Alwil Software).
If you are getting ICQ spam, why would you want to visit a link in a spam message, as to how can you protect your self, don’t open unsolicited email attachments, don’t click links in unsolicited emails, the same is true don’t click links in unsolicited ICQ spam.
The more people that visit spam links the more reason there is for them to continue spamming, never visit any spam site no matter how good a deal it might appear, you may get more than you bargained for as you found out.
