Hi All, i hope someone can help me…i have vista and just deleted Norton, when trying to download Avast 4 free edition i get a message that states ‘Security settings will not allow this download’. Does anybody know what i must do to change the settings in order to download Avast?

You can find your system firewall options !next:Reduced default value !Or “multi-threaded” download tools Download!

Make sure you do not keep remains of Norton…

1. Remove NAV through Add/Remove programs from Control Panel. Boot.
2. Use Symantec removal tool following the three steps defined in the SymNRT tool info or here.
3. Boot.
4. Download and install avast! Boot.
5. See what you get.
