Vista64 and Downloadspeed

Hi from Germany,

I got a Speed of about 13.500 Speed when Avast is off.
If it is on it goes down to about 12500.

Whatt can I do?

If you disable WebShield, is the speed brought back to the normal level?
If so, maybe there is no other option: performance and security must be balanced, to scan the internet traffic (HTTP), avast WebShield should use some resources…
