The security company based its assessment on tests run on three different publicly available beta iterations of Vista, and conceded that Microsoft has eliminated large numbers of potential vulnerabilities with each successive beta release.Just to play devils advocate, How ready is Symantec for Vista ???
Hi bob3160,
Well put, the whole discussion could have been turned 180 degrees around. And what does Symantec have on the Microsoft code or do they have a man in Redmond in a special Symantec room? ;D I rather think they as a security firm feel the heat of the new security features in Vista. And so what it all boils down in the end is just one word: envy…Couldn’t that be it?

I would not put much trust in Symantec anyway. ![]()
All i can say is “IT’S STILL BETA” :![]()
