visual basic activex

When I compile an activex file in Visual Basic, Avast Home thinks it is a trogan. Anyone have experience with this?

Please send the source and the compiled file to virus@avast.com
Mention why you think it is a false positive and ofcourse the password.
So the people from Alwil will have a look at it and correct it.

p.s.
Things like this have been asked/answered many times before on this webboard.
Please use the search option before posting, thanks.

While the VPS database is not corrected for this, as a workaround, check the Exclusion lists:

For the Standard Shield provider (on-access scanning):
Left click the ‘a’ blue icon, click on the provider icon at left and then Customize.
Go to Advanced tab and click on Add button…

For the other providers (on-demmand scanning):
Right click the ‘a’ blue icon, click Program Settings.
Go to Exclusions tab and click on Add button…

You can use wildcards like * and ?.
But be carefull, you should ‘exclude’ that many files that let your system in danger.
