Avast free version keeps telling me that I am infected with Vosteran new tab. I repeatedly let avast fix it but next time I reboot it is back.
I rebooted pc and ran a full scan. Avast found NOTHING. What is going on?

What I do understand is avast telling mr that my computer is perfectly healthy and has found NOTHING.

Fixing computers is like going to the Doctor. He take some samples to get a diagnosis, then give the right treatment
Same thing with computers, we need some diagnostic logs to find out what is wrong before treatment can be given
Fixing computers is like going to the doctors. What a joke. I am an engineer and you lot want me to show you a log of nothing because avast found nothing. What part of nothing do you not understand.
As an engineer it shouldn’t be too hard for you to follow the instructions.
Anyway, without your logs we can’t help you.
Without logs evrything is guesswork … Since you are a engineer, your guess is as good as anything we could come up with
You are asking for help but refuse to give the information that is needed to help you 
If you really want help, provide the logs that we have asked for.
The fact that avast hasn’t found anything doesn’t mean everything is ok.
There is no tool in the world that can detect/fix everything.
I sure hope you are not a computer engineer.
