VPN connection disconnects when Android device idle and does not reconnect

I have a Samsung note 5 and I’ve followed the instructions to turn off power save mode, but the connection continues to disconnect when device is idle and does not automatically reconnect.

This is happening to me also. I have a Galaxy Note 8.

Install avast secureline and use code from your mobilesecurity plan.
And use this app for VPN connections it has more options and features so its worth installing.
After lot of mails and tries with support this was working best.
