Here is an English version for other readers too:
If you have “Automatic reconnect” option enabled in SecureLine settings (it’s on by default), then the VPN connection is established every time there is any network communication on your iPhone regardless whether on Wi-Fi or cellular data. The VPN connection creation is fully controlled by iOS. The system terminates the VPN connection only once all network communication finishes. This is done mainly to conserve battery life. Because of this, you can observe sometimes that when unlocking the iPhone screen, the VPN sign is missing in the status bar, but it appears shortly after. Thanks to SecureLine using the most modern VPN protocol IPsec+IKEv2 provided by OS and our robust infrastructure, the VPN connection is in average established under 1 seconds. Therefore this has a minimal impact on the user experience. The same applies to network communication on the background. VPN connection is created on demand and terminated afterward.
Because of the above-described VPN connection creation mechanism by iOS, we see that average device creates hundreds of VPN connections to our infrastructure per day. This is by grade more than on other platforms we support.
