The update history shows: http://www.avast.com/virus-update-history

but I have 130705-1 and avast says its up to date

is this just me!? or its for everyone?

Well you should also be getting a whole slew of streaming updates in the meantime, I have three streaming update sub-folders

C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\defs\13070501_stream with 167 streams.
C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\defs\13070600_stream with 54 streams.
C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\defs\13070601_stream with 55 streams

In total 276 streaming updates since VPS 130705-1, that probably takes care of most signatures until we actually get VPS 130706-1.

That’s right David,streaming updates are indeed coming things up.
