VRDB is the Avast recovery database used in case you have a problem with an escaped virus on your machine. You can restore it back to normal. Check Avast help files for more info on the VRDB function.

Check the Avast website for documentation for other languages.

what is VRDB?

That’s exactly the name of the menu item that will open the appropriate help page. To access the menu, right click the VRDB tray icon (the blue (i) ball…).

I don’t understand the problem exactly, but the fact is that the Spanish version of avast! does not have the main help file translated - it is really still in English.
(any volunteers to do the translation? ;D)
