Hi All I’m french, so excuse my bad english.

I have avast.

I will be totally transparent of the huge error I’ve made yesterday.

I dl officialy microsoft office visio 2007 Fr with the msdna program of microsoft, my grand father want this software to, so i try to find an activation crack.

The one I found, avast and others detection software (ad aware, spybot S&D) say that fils fil is clean.

I decided to try it.

Then, double clic, and warning, (for those who understand french, this is my post http://forum.zebulon.fr/index.php?showtopic=116827)

A little icon on my task bar say that my PC was infested.

Lost of internet yesterday, my PC is slow down.

On a friend advice, i uninstall avast, and dl a demo version of NOD32, this is the report :

in other little things :
C:\WINDOWS\system32\vxg4am1et2.exe - Win32/Nuwar.gen ver

detected as unknown menace, I send the .exe to virus@avast.com

any idea to delete it before a re-installation of my computer (that I’ll do no matter what happens)

The popup would suggest a smitfraud infection - Download and run http://www.malwarebytes.org/rogueremover.php and if you like follow up with a hjt log

It looks like the Win32/Nuwar.gen part of your problem was already solved on the forum you linked to. If it isn’t, its probably best to continue the active hijackthis session there so we don’t conflict with each other (unless they’re unable to help).

Yes they help.

NOD32 delete that crazy thing, after that, and other test, I restore my PC with the DVD.

Everythin’ seems to be clear, I’ll post the hijackthis report asap I finish to update my computer (it’s 23.18 here ^^, and I woke up at 5…)
