W32:Bredolab-AP in hyberfil.sys

How do you remove this thing from hyberfil.sys?

Any idea?

Would windows boot mode might help?

Probably a false positive if it’s not detected anywhere else.

This issue has come up many times- a forum search should bring up more information.

how about not scanning (adding to exclusions) hyberfil.sys?

@ FreeFrank

I searched the forum and I found no reference

I can only find this virus when using a boot time scan with Avast

I searched Google and found out that this virus and is really dangerous

Can I delete hyberfil.sys as a whole?

Does this crash my system?

Sure you can. It’s just the memory dump while hibernating.
