hey ive been infected by this vir and all .exe and .lnk files are pretty much usless and i have to manually use run… and then itll ask what to open with and i have to open with the same exe to run them.
any help in getting rid of this
Are you using Windows XP?
Can you schedule a boot-time scanning?
Start avast! > Right click the skin > Schedule a boot-time scanning.
Select for scanning archives and ‘ask’ for the system files.
Boot.
Can you post the results?
