does avast caught this virus. my friend told me this virus erase mp3 files. i kinda worried about it cause i got alot of mp3 files. sorry for bad english

Whilst avast probably has a number of signatures for this trojan small, there are many variants but that shouldn’t be any worry if you have a backup and recovery strategy in place.
You should be backing up ‘regularly’ any data that you don’t want to lose, so if the worst comes to the worst you have a back-up. You could password protect your media folder, etc. that might make it harder for malware to erase files in a password protected folder.
