I apologize, I wasn’t aware I needed permission to give sound advice (didn’t see any Forum Sticky regarding this), I will go elsewhere. I don’t believe this is a virus/malware infection considering a simple windows file corruption could be the culprit, as there is no reason an Antivirus Program or Malware would disable sound. Reinstalling drivers wont do anything if windows is somehow corrupted. But I’m no expert on these forums. Not trying to be rude…This will be my final post on this topic. Again, I apologize.
