Wake up Avast!

I have reported http://routable.org as a false positive so many times but nothing gets done about it.

https://routable.org works fine but http://routable.org says it has malware. They both point to the same files! >:(

The https is blocked by the Online Security Plugin.

ssl (https) works, non-ssl (http) gives the malware warning and blocks access to the site.

Again, even SSL is blocked by the browser plugin (not that it matters). How did you report the false positive?

In the dialog that slides up above the system tray. I clicked “report file as false positive” and filled in the form.

Maybe try again here: http://www.avast.com/contact-form.php (Report false virus alert on website)

Thanks will give it a try

avast does “not” scan HTTPS traffic. avast does scan HTTP traffic. One site (HTTPS) is not scanned the other (HTTP) is scanned.

Routable.com

I found this https://asafaweb.com/Scan?Url=routable.org
This scan uncovered several underlying risks.

And this http://zulu.zscaler.com/submission/show/55afb892853f13b7eeefb3c79d784691-1382805641
This report covers several other risks.

This is not a site I would feel safe visiting.

Don’t be scared

Those “underlying risks” are all unfounded. Not quite sure how they got there.

Still nothing been done about this :frowning:

Even Firefox reports your site as untrustworthy.

Strong evidence of http to https redirection when using the http protocol: http://urlquery.net/report.php?id=7370982
(urlquery uses FF version 3.6.13)

Be sure to click the site screen capture upper right and read what it says. https: It says this even tho the original entry was http:

Sorry, but this is not a clean site. Certainly not one I would trust. You might not get infected but sure can have your private and confidential information stolen without your knowledge because of a MITM attack. As avast! cannot scan a https: connection, so it cannot detect malicous infiltration, therefore it cannot block it. Blocking likely is at the point where a http to https redirect occurs.

Para-noid nailed it with this scan analysis: https://asafaweb.com/Scan?Url=routable.org

Look at what the report says about http: to https: redirection to understand a little better about the risks present here.

when i tried to go the “routable.org” website, it was blocked by “firefox” due to the website’s having an invalid SSL certificate…

Confirmed.
