warning on link with 4.7 free avast editon

hello!

i have this morning by trying to download a file this warning with the last free edition of avast:

sign of VBS: malware [script] has been fount in http…
sign of win32:agent-IFX [trj] has been found in http://;;;;;;

other guys using avst have same trouble but other using other antivirus dont… any explaination about it?

the link in question is this one: http://*****www.gigasize.com/get.php/-1100228621/OF4p3.zip

thanks for replying :slight_smile:

Please modify your post so the link isn’t active for a suspect link, e.g. http :// www . gigasize.com/get.php/-1100228621/OF4p3.zip this will still allow for checking but won’t cause possible accidental exposure to the curious for their own good.

Unfortunately, I don’t get an alert on that page now (nor does DrWeb link scanner), but neither can I download the zip file either to check that, I enter the 3 digit code and click download the timer runs down but no download (in firefox, killing the pop-ups very effectively and the ads).

I tried with avant browser and failed miserably there you have to jump throw so many hoops I thought I was a circus performer and you are subjected to poker site pop-ups and ads, that I wouldn’t use this site under normal circumstances.

But there is no alert on that page ‘for me anyway’ at this time.

No warning on the site. The download is half a gig, so I didn’t check it out.

hi and thanks for replying.

i just myself did click on download again and this time everything was OK.
i remember wen i haed this warning, it was just like another windows ( like popup) opening and closing… then the antivirus warning.

strange anyway.

Please, right click the file and scan it again.
If it was a false positive detection, it would be ‘too’ fast to be corrected in the same day…
