Why does the avast! symbol in the system tray say “avast! Antivirus: WARNING, your system is UNSECURED.” and yet when I bring up avast!, it says “SECURED your system is fully protected”??
Hi badger66: Sounds like a little glitch. Try a reboot and if message still exists, try a repair of Avast by going to Control Panel/Add and Remove PRograms and choose Avast. THen click ‘Change/Repair’ and scroll down the options and click on “Repair”. After repair is finished, reboot your computer.
