as the subject suggest, I was charged $50. I never had any notification from Avast my year was even up yet. And I see is shows, “Renew now for another 365 days” this is misleading because $50 was taken from me, why is it asking me to renew again… Well, you guys took $50 from me with out my permission, I am renewed.
You probably have “Auto Pay Turned ON!” You have to look for it! It a sneaky thing they do if you pay by Pay-Pal or Credit Card! They have a switch in the menu when your ordering and if you don’t look it over very carefully you will miss it! You can turn it OFF and then you will have to pay the next time Avast runs out! That’s what I do, Sometimes in Pay-Pal they turn ON Auto pay in your Pay-Pal menu! You have to Log into Pay-Pal and turn it OFF!!!

This time how ever I payed for a new license in November 5th because my current one was expiring on December 12th! The problem is that when my current license expired all Avast kept telling me is to order another license!! So I would pay for it twice!! I had to log into Avast and Find the New License and copy it to my Avast to activate it! Now I have lost almost 30 days from the new license as they started it on November 5th! So they screwed me again! NEXT Time I will let it expire and THEN Order a new license!! Or, Go with another company! I like Avast! It’s good and works well with little to know problems except for the constant advertising to try and get me to buy more services I don’t need or want! But the hassle of just renewing and then always trying to screw you out of cash is making me change my mind! There is a lot of other Good virus protection out there and I think this will be my last year with Avast! I can’t even call support and talk to anyone as you get like to menus and the computer tells you some junk about renewing and then hangs up!!! I’m done!! (o; Good lick to you…
