Was just sold an expired subscription

I Chatted with customer support over cancelling a subscription that was beginning today that I just paid for. Rather than a refund, I was offered an upgrade to Avast Ultimate VIP. I accepted. But I was “upgraded” to an expired subscription that has today as the expiration date, rather than one year from today. I did not intend to purchase an expired subscription for $30. My subscription was supposed to begin today. Now the entire “orders” section of my profile is completely empty, so I cannot re-connect with chat. I need this rectified ASAP.
