after the new update, my email does not work…I scanned and found a bunch of stuff that avast did not protect me from. well I tried to move it to the virus vult but it would not go the virus vult button was not working. what can I go to get this to work or where can I go to find something to remove what ever is on here

think i know what your problem is.....but need a screenshot to be sure or maybe you could write down what avast say on a couple of those detections

Avast is only reporting password protected archives no viruses…you care clean and protected ;D…

as i supected from your screenshots, that is a scan error report avast is a antivirus program and will only take action on infected files so button is gray and will not work on scan errors. ;)

files that can not be scanned for reason given by avast are just that and does not mean they are infected

ok no virus but why did the new avast damage my email causing a msoe.dll can not be started and windows mail does not work this has to be due to the email shield any ideas how to fix that?

do not know…does your mail work if you turn off mail shield?

no it does not, I even removed avast but it had already damaged the msoe.dll my computer was fine so was my email until that blasted update
