Was offered Pro for a year, now it's about to expire under 1 month later....

Hi so I tried the Avast Clean up licence and it basically did nothing for my computer performance. After coming here I contacted Avast (customer.care@avast.com) on the 3rd September asking for a refund (well within the time scale for being allowed one) I got a reply on the 8th saying that I would be upgraded at no extra cost to Pro for one year (I have this all on my email account). However yesterday and today I keep getting reminders that the licence is about to expire, six days from now. I tried to email the person that made me this offer and this it the notification I get: “Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently: customer.care@avast.com”.

I’m getting pretty fed up now. I have a feeling that if the licence does expire I won’t get my original refund. Can anyone help with this? I don’t want to waste any more time (or money!) emailing Avast! It’s a shame, I was very impressed with the customer service, now I don’t know if it was a genuine offer or not. Confused.

Your Avast Pro Antivirus license is valid until September 2017. Please make sure that you followed the steps to activate the license (if you just installed the application but didn’t insert the license, Avast is in a 30 days trial period, which is most probably your case).

I will send you the license and the instructions how to activate it once more :slight_smile:

Aaahhh I see, so it was most likely my fault in the first place, oops. Sorry about that, I thought I had installed it correctly but I will check again and follow the instructions…Thanks!

No worries we all (not me ofcourse) make mistakes sometimes ;D

You can disable the notifications in the same way as you enabled them, if needed/wanted.
Simply select modify at one of the posts and look in the “Attachments and other options”

Please don’t get used to fast help.
You where just lucky Moroni already drunk his morning cup coffe ;D
