We are sorry, your device ...could not be synchronized...

I am getting this error:
We are sorry, your device … could not be synchronized because of a temporary issue on our side. Please try deleting it and then add it back to your Avast Account.

What is the problem and how to solve it ?

As it it clearly says it is a problem at avast’s side.
Nothing you can do about it.

I agree the error message is quite clear in explaining its a temporary server side problem.

I have a few question though… It also suggests you try deleting the device from your account and re-adding it… Does this fix the issue? Will I have problems re-adding the device if I do delete it?

I have been getting the same error for the past week or so. None of my devices will show up. I tried deleting one of the devices from the account and then adding–same error reappeared. So no resolution yet.

Have been using Avast anti-theft on our phones for about a couple years and generally works well. Hopefully they can get this fixed soon or will need to check into another product for anti-theft protection.
