"We could not connect your device to your avast! Account. Try again later."

This is the error message I get when I try to login inside Avast, The download and installation went smooth, it’s just that I cannot use the program since it requires you to login to be able to activate the protection. Have I missed anything here? Thanks

what avast do you have … and build number?
can you post some screenshots of your problem?

The email you registered avast with and the email used to login to http://my.avast.com should be the same.

I am also receiving this error…I had to reinstall Avast on my Windows 8.1 laptop and as soon as I insert the license key file, I receive the error. I am using Avast Internet Security 2015 - the latest build. Email address I’m using is the same in both places.

Have you tried logging in via your my.avast.com account ???
